Japanese government (MEXT) scholarship students

MEXT scholarship students receive thier scholarship funds on a monthly basis and are exempt from admission and tuition fees. Beisdes, round-trip air-ticket between student's country and Japan are also provided.

（１）MEXT Scholarship Programs and Number of Recruitments

（２）Eligibility

Course	Applicants Qualification
Master	Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
Doctor	Must have a master's degree or equivalent qualification

（Non-Eligibility：）

• It is not allowed to apply for multiple MEXT Scholarship programs at the same time. Applicants who applied to two or more universities or simultaneously to the "Embassy Recommendation", will automatically be excluded from the application process.
• Military personnel or military civilian employees at the time of their arrival in Japan or during the period of the payment of the scholarship.
• Those who cannot arrive in Japan by the last date of the period specified by MEXT or UEC.
• Previous grantees of Japanese Government (MEXT) scholarship programs (including those who withdrew from the scholarship program after arrival in Japan.)
