Mr. PARK JUNGJIN (D1, Mechanical and Intelligent Systems Engineering) and Mr. Kiyohide Nakao (D2, Mechanical and Intelligent Systems Engineering) at the Kiminao Kogiso's Laboratory, received recognition at the SICE Festival 2026 with Annual Conference (SICE FES 2026), held at PACIFICO Yokohama from September 14 to 17, 2026.
SICE FES 2026, organized by the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE), brought together researchers, engineers, and students from Japan and abroad to present and discuss the latest research in measurement, control, systems, information, and related fields.
Mr. PARK was selected as a finalist for the SICE Annual Conference Young Author's Award, which recognizes outstanding research presentations by young researchers who are expected to contribute to the future development of the measurement, control, and systems engineering fields. Mr. PARK presented his research at SICE FES 2026 as one of the award finalists.
Mr. Nakao received the"SHI Sponsored Award." The Sponsored Awards recognize outstanding student presentations and are independently presented by sponsoring companies based on their evaluation of the presentations. Mr. Nakao received the award from Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. (SHI).
