On September 15, 2026, the University of Electro-Communications (UEC) concluded an Agreement on Academic Exchange and a Student Exchange Agreement with the Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore).
IIT Indore is a national higher education institution established by the Government of India in 2009 and is designated as an Institute of National Importance. It conducts a wide range of education and research activities, particularly in science and engineering, and has approximately 3,700 students and more than 220 faculty members.
Exchange between UEC and IIT Indore has developed through UEC's Inter-University Exchange Project. In February 2026, a UEC delegation visited IIT Indore and exchanged views on future joint research and student exchange, including collaboration in the fields of space and electromagnetic environments. From February to March of the same year, a faculty member and a doctoral student from IIT Indore visited UEC and took part in research exchanges and symposium activities.
Through the conclusion of these agreements, UEC and IIT Indore are expected to further promote joint research, researcher exchange, and student exchange, and to strengthen cooperation in education and research.
