On Thursday, November 13, 2025, the University of Electro-Communications (UEC) concluded a Memorandum of Understanding on the Acceptance of Students with Le Quy Don Technical University (LQDTU). The purpose of this MoU is to further promote academic exchange between the two institutions and to foster human resources who will contribute to the development of both Vietnam and Japan by accepting LQDTU students into UEC's undergraduate programs, where they will have the opportunity to earn a degree.
The signing ceremony was held at UEC and attended by five faculty and staff members from LQDTU, including President Le Minh Thai. From UEC, President Tano Shunichi, Prof. Muramatsu Masakazu (Member of the Board of Directors (Education Strategy)), and Dr. Oya Kazuaki (Member of the Board of Directors (International and Public Relations Strategy)) were present. Following a welcome address by President Tano, President Le Minh Thai delivered remarks on behalf of the LQDTU delegation. This was followed by an overview of UEC presented by Dr. Oya and an introduction to LQDTU by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dinh, Director of the Vietnam-Japan International Cooperation Center for Science and Technology. The participants engaged in an active exchange of views. It is expected that this agreement will further enhance educational and research collaboration between the two institutions and contribute to the development of highly skilled professionals who will play important roles in the next generation.
