On March 3, 2025, Prof. Supasawad Chardchawarn, the Rector of Thammasat University, and his delegation group visited the University of Electro-Communications (UEC). During the visit, the two universities held discussions on strengthening their mutual exchange initiatives.
Founded in 1934, Thammasat University is one of Thailand's leading academic institutions, renowned for its commitment to social sciences, law, and economics. Over the years, it has expanded into a multidisciplinary university, excelling in various fields, including engineering and technology.
Since signing the cooperation agreement in 2015, Thammasat University and UEC have actively fostered academic collaboration.
We anticipate significant expansion of academic partnerships, as well as research and student exchanges between the two universities in the coming years.
